Playing takes three steps
Install the launcher
Download Maximum and run the installer. If Windows says it protected your PC, click More info, then Run anyway.
Log in with Discord
Your Discord account is your Maximum account. Maximum only sees your Discord name and picture.
Pick your game and drop
In Settings, choose your Fortnite 14.60 folder, then press Launch Maximum. Pick a mode in the lobby and you're in.

Questions
Is Maximum free?
Yes, completely. Nothing on Maximum costs real money. If someone asks you to pay for it, it isn't us.
What do I need to play?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC, a Discord account, and your own copy of the Fortnite 14.60 build (++Fortnite+Release-14.60-CL-14786821). Maximum doesn't include or share the game files.
Windows says "Windows protected your PC". Is it safe?
That message shows for any installer that isn't signed with a paid certificate yet. Click More info, then Run anyway.
My antivirus deleted a file. What now?
The launcher adds two small files to Fortnite so it connects to Maximum instead of Epic, and some antivirus programs don't like that. In the launcher, go to Settings and press Add exclusion, then reinstall Maximum.
Do my levels, V-Bucks and items save?
Yes. Everything is saved to your account, which is tied to your Discord account, so you can play from any PC.
Can I play with my friends?
Yes. Add them in the game, invite them to your party, and queue together. In Duos and Arena Duos your party plays as one team.
Is Maximum made by Epic Games?
No. Maximum is an unofficial fan project. Fortnite and everything in it belong to Epic Games.
